A micrometer is a measuring instrument for determining the linear dimension. Most well-known are micrometers in various construction forms, which afford partly different applications. The classic micrometer has a fixed and an adjustable measuring surface which is connected by a frame. The to be measured object has to be inserted between both parallel measuring surfaces and turn off by means of a setting screw until the surfaces are contacting the object. The size of the measuring object can determine on the scale. Parts of our range are also special micrometres for measuring the depth and other special measuring surfaces. You will also find at these category inside micrometers to measure at 2 points and three-point-internal-micrometers for blind holes and through holes.
